With Easter right around the corner, I haven’t had a ton of time to create special easter goodies but I did manage to sneak some time in today to play with some peeps! (I’m also going to attempt to make sugar cookies but with a baby in the front carrier it could very well equal disaster)
Peeps are marshmallow bunnies and chickies that are covered with coloured sugar and are pretty much an Easter Staple!
The idea for the Brownie Bunnies comes from www.nofussfabulous.com where they even have a free printable for the labels.
The bottom of the jar is filled with springtime M&M’s then lined with 8 peep bunnies and filled with Ghiradelli Brownie Mix. Along with the Jar, be sure to attach the brownie recipe, including the M&M’s and the peeps!
A great gift to give away for Easter!
I also made some peep pops. These little gems took only a few minutes to create and the kids will be so excited to share them with their friends! To make Peep pops, simply melt some milk chocolate melting wafers in the microwave at 50% power. Poke a stick into the bottom of the marshmallow bunny and dip in chocolate. Let dry on parchment paper and wrap in cellophane.
