Chocolate Chip Cupcakes with Cookie Dough Frosting

April 7, 2011

Cookie Dough Cupcakes seem to be the latest and greatest newest thing and I totally understand why!

The cupcake tastes just like a chocolate chip cookie made with vanilla and brown sugar, and the frosting is just like cookie dough except it’s lighter and sweeter and SO GOOD!

The original recipe had a cookie dough filling in the cupcake, I felt like it was maybe going a little bit overboard but now that I’ve tasted this cupcake but I disagree and wish I would have made the cookie dough!

You should add these cupcakes to your list of things to bake for sure! Thanks Cheryl (aka tidymom) for posting such a yummy cupcake recipe!

You should also know that I cut the recipe in half and it yielded 17 cupcakes, but I will give you the full recipe. (in case you’re feeding a crowd!)
