Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

These are so easy you may not ever make regular chocolate chip cookies again!

They were also pretty yummy.  By the time I had daylight to take photos in half of the pan had already been eaten!

Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Pan Cookies recipe from

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulates sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 package chocolate chips (12 oz)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and grease or parchment line a 15X10 inch Jelly roll pan.  I don’t have a Jelly roll pan so i just used a cookie sheet and covered about 3/4 of it with dough.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt together in a small bowl.

Beat the butter and sugar’s together add vanilla.

Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition.  Gradually beat in the flour mixture and stir in the Chocolate Chips and nuts. 

Spread into pan and bake 20 – 25 minutes.
